Peruvian Blue Opal set in 9ct gold ring.

Set in recycled 9ct gold with a hammered ring shank, this lovely Peruvian Blue Opal has a domed, faceted surface making it catch the light beautiful, just like the sun catches on the sea. This high grade Peruvian Blue Opal is a stunning example of the rare national stone of Peru. The colours are often likened to the Caribbean sea but I think the Cornwall coast has some features which would compete!

Peruvian Blue Opals are only found in the Andes in Peru and are therefore quite rare. This ring will give you so much pleasure as a reminder of warm days and long sunny afternoons messing about at the beach.

The contemporary gold ring shank is lightly textured for an organic look. The stone measures approx 9×7mm.
