Wordhoard Brooch

I have made a collection of unique brooches made to celebrate the words inscribed into them by Jo Sweeting. Each word has been applied onto the silver by Jo and etched into its surface then framed in a particular way by me.

BIDE is set into an deep oxidised frame and a tiny clock outline is engraved by hand into the back.

BIDE is to wait for —used chiefly in the phrase bide one's time.
